Project Fork currently offers 4 different usertypes:

  • Client
  • Member
  • Group leader
  • Administrator

Each of these types increases/decreases the possibilities of what a user can do, or what he can't.

Client
Clients have very limited possibilities to navigate in Project Fork and are bound to their group permissions.
Note that most permissions require the usertype Member or higher!

Member
Members are "normal" users. They can perform almost all actions available, but they are also bound to their group permissions.

Group leader
Group leaders have extended permissions and act as administrators of all groups they are part of.
That means they can see/edit/delete things from group members/group clients which others could not.
But generally , they are also bound to the their group permissions.

Administrator
Administrators can see/edit/delete absolutely everything and are not bound to any groups or group permissions.
